Computer World

Computer World is a piece of art created entirely in paper for Vinylize exhibition at Concerto in Amsterdam to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Record Store Day. For this project, also were created a stop motion animation clip and two posters as homage to Kraftwerk - Computer World

Computer world is a non commissioned project created especially
for Vinylize! exhibition at Concerto Record Shop to celebrate the
10th anniversary of the Record Store Day in Amsterdam.
from 14th Apr to 19th May 2017

Vinylize! invited 45 artists and illustrators to create new artwork
on top of their favourite record sleeve, inspired by the original design.

One of my favourite albums is Kraftwerk - Computer World
the eight studio album by the German electronic music band, released on 10th May 1981

Inspired by the beats repetition Kraftwerk uses to compose their tracks,
and the themes of the rise of computers within society,
I extended the
recurrence of the elements on the album cover beyond the limits of the
ordinary space to convey an invasion.

Aside from the artwork created, I've also worked with Cintia Bertaccini and
Callum Reid to create an stop motion animation clip entirely made in paper
as a tribute to
Kraftwerk - Computer World track.
